Up Dating

Isohunt (which I have never used, and anyone who says I have used isohunt.com is a big fat liar) has dating adverts. Now, one of them last night was oddly location specific - “Meet Worcester Singles” it said. So I investigated further.

Excellently, the ads are generated automatically on the server. And with tinkering, can be made to say anything you want.

For instance, this.

Infected Singles

(http://crtv.mate1.com/crtv/1517/geolocation=infected - Warning! The image above is work safe. The URL is not.)

And by changing the number after /crtv/ in the URL, you can find different adverts for amusing fun. As shown here.

Clap Clinics

I don’t know why I find this simple messing with URLs fun, but I do. And maybe you will too.

To do it yourself, copy and paste the above URL; you can replace the text after “geolocation=” with pretty much anything, though anything too long will be replaced with default text unfortunately.

Edit: The irony of what this has done to my Google adverts is appreciated.
